Carambolo
A Latin American rock, jazz and progressive music band for which I created the visual identity
Carambolo is a music project combining rock sounds, a jazz atmosphere, Latin American rhythms and progressive arrangements. I led the visual identity of the project through the creation of images, animations and cover art for the releases. The visual identity is inspired by the pulsating flows of nature and the texture of lichens.
I designed the first vinyl which contains the first two EPs that have been released. It contains an insert with the song’s lyrics and the colours were chosen with the help of the project’s online community.
The website follows the same visual identity and aims to highlight the music. I also developed a custom digital sequencer (a device that lets you record, edit, and playback sounds) using Carambolo’s sounds to add some playfulness and interactivity to the project.
